I have an old version of 'Crossword Maker' on a CD ROM Windows 95 or higher, however, I cannot load it on my Windows 7 environment. Is there a solution?

The information on the homepage of the developer suggests that the application will run on computers with Windows 95 or higher. Please set the compatibility to Windows XP then try to run the application. Since there is no available update, I think this is the only way to see if it works on Windows 7.
Apply Windows XP compatibility using right click on the setup file then select Properties > Compatibility > Windows XP Service Pack 3.
